Areas of Practice
Harassment
An employee who faces conduct, language, unwanted touching, offensive visual material, and other types of experiences at work that create a hostile environment needs courage to confront harassment. But, that employee also needs a strong advocate. That's where this office comes in.
retaliation
When employers try to silence employees or punish them for asserting their rights, the law protects the employees. And, we take on cases to make sure that employer retaliation does not go unchallenged.
Discrimination
Unfair or unequal treatment at work based on sex, race, age, disability, sexual orientation, religion, and other protected statuses may actually be illegal discrimination. If you think you have experienced discrimination, contact this office.
wage and hour
From minimum wage violations to overtime pay claims and beyond, wage and hour law regulates how employers are to pay their employees. But, some employers ignore these laws. If you believe your employer has underpaid you, we can help you.
Whistleblowing
Employers are barred from retaliating against employees for reporting actions that violate the law. We represent courageous employees who blow the whistle on such conduct.
employment agreements
You may need a lawyer to help you with an employment contract, or to review an agreement that an employer has offered you. This office has years of experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating employment agreements.
